tuesday show

Nice show. Will unfortunately miss next week's July album anniversary show since I'll be up north (MI) next Tuesday. By the way, I'm always up for some Lyle Lovett - a must see in concert if he comes your way. As always, I seem to always cherrypick your playlist for Lost and Found entries. Thanks for the inspiration.

Re: tuesday show

Have a great trip! We've had a fair amount of pleasant, northern-Michigan-like weather down here this summer, so it wasn't quite as painful to come home as it often is. Yep, we've got some good anniversaries coming up this month. One of the best parts of the anniversary shows is that it greatly restricts my options, which makes putting the playlist together a lot faster!

I try to get over to the SIT80s blog regularly to check out your Lost and Founds, though I rarely comment. I'm always tickled to see something I played recently get the SIT80s L&F treatment, and the inspiration goes both ways -- I've added things to my Amazon wish list and made some purchases based on L&F. I still need to get "Go For Soda", though...I've gotta have that track! The question, as always, is do I just download the track or buy the whole album?

In August, I think we'll either do a "space" show or your instrument challenge (and maybe both). I've already lined up three-plus hours of space-related '80s tunes. Heck, I could probably do a show on aliens alone! I'll see if I can enlist The Eel to help me with either or both shows; if so, when we do it will be contingent on his work schedule. Let me know if you're going to miss a week and we can always reschedule to make sure you can hear it!

Re: tuesday show

I just have "Go For Soda" by itself - only know about 2 other songs by Kim Wilson. That's great news about the special shows. I think I should chained to my work desk on Tuesday mornings for the next 3 months (unless the unexpected happens) so anytime you cue those shows up, I will be eagerly listening!
